The Student Enrollment Services is committed to supporting the student information system
(SIS) operations of admissions, academic advising, financial aid, student financials,
student records, and campus community activities. SES maintains the policies, processes,
and services of the academic mission of IU and each of its campuses and performs
institution-wide operations in the areas of SIS system management, reporting, help desk,
security, data administration, operational support, internal controls, academic policy, and
compliance. The Student Enrollment Services goals are to:

Report technical difficulties by using the Problem and Request System. This
system provides technologies to track and expedite all technology support requests within Student
Enrollment Services.
Forms and general information regarding course catalog, academic structure updates,
and additional SIS Services information.
Provide high quality service to campus units responsible for supporting student operations
Manage day to day responsibilities of coordinating, configuring, running, monitoring,
staffing, reviewing, and completing SIS system and business processes
Coordinate enhancements and support SIS development projects with campus-based
functional staff to address IU initiatives, student service, compliance, and cost
efficiencies through technology
Coordinate decision support services for student information components using the
Indiana University Information Environment (IUIE). Develop and provide reports and other
tools to meet campus information requirements
Provide expertise in financial aid business processes to address federal, state, and
institutional compliance requirements
Preserve common standards in the maintenance of student records across all IU campuses.
